MAXCEF^® 125 - SIRUP KERING

INGREDIENT :
Each 5 mL of the reconstituted suspension contains: Cefadroxil Monohydrate equivalent to Cefadroxil 125 mg

INDICATION :

Cefadroxil is indicated for various infections, including:

Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, septic arthritis, and osteomyelitis.

DOSAGE AND USAGE :

Adults: 1-2 g daily as a single dose or in 2 divided doses.

Children: 30 mg/kg daily as a single dose or divided into 2 doses.

Treatment should be continued for a minimum of 48-72 hours after signs of infection have disappeared. A minimum of 10 days of treatment is required for infections caused by -hemolytic Streptococcus bacteria. Chronic urinary tract infections require longer treatment and intensive therapy guided by bacteriological and clinical examination.
